Local Paper: The Times Presents Flawed Immigration Poll as Important

Any poll is only as good and accurate as the questions they ask.  The old computer saying GIGO (standing for: garbage in, garbage out) from any objective view would fit the poll done by Harper Polling.  Without looking at the validity of the primary questions Harper asked in their immigration poll, The Times runs a [...]

Audit the IRS Rally DC Update

Four Northern Indiana Patriots’ made the 12 hour trip to Washington DC and attended the Tea Party Patriots rally along with approximately 12,000 other patriots.  The rally centered on the IRS targeting of groups solely on the basis of their belief in a Constitutional government.  The speakers for the three hour plus rally varied from [...]

Is The Tea Party Dead… Oh WAIT

Some may recall the spontaneous creation of the Tea Party Patriots in 2009. The years that followed can be remembered by the numerous public demonstrations held across the nation with citizens protesting issues such as The Affordable Healthcare Act (Obamacare), the stimulus bill and assembling to promote a constitutionally limited government. Some have inferred that [...]

Standing for the First Amendment!

IRS Protest On Tuesday May 21, patriots from across the area participated in the nationwide protest of the IRS.  The individuals at the protest took two hours out of their day to have their voices heard.  Of the approximate 55 patriots who were at the Merrillville office some used vacation time in order to make [...]

IRS Abuse of Power/ Scandal

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is arguably the most powerful and feared agency within the United States government.  They alone have the ability to presume a company, organization or individual guilty of crime, making the grieved party responsible for asserting and proving innocence. Starting in March of 2011 news reports surfaced of the IRS using [...]

Stop Experimenting on Our Children: Common Core

A true threat is under way which many citizens are unaware of, yet the impact will have dire results for all children.  A nationalized set of educational standards is being pushed through many state legislatures with no concrete knowledge of what these standards mean for our children. Instead of higher educational goals which encourage the [...]

2012 Presidential Debate Schedule

Let’s Talk Postcards

In coordination with Freedom Works, you can be a part of encouraging like-minded freedom lovers to vote on November 6th.

Here’s how it works:

Go the US Post Office and purchase 20 prepaid postage postcards for $7.40 or whatever number you can afford.  A prepaid card cost 37 cents each.  You then decide whether you want to send the cards out locally or to one of the battleground states.

Contact NIPats and we will get you the names and addresses for the number of postcards you purchased. We will also provide sample statements for the postcards.

The postcards you send are to be handwritten. It is important you individually touch the citizens that receive the postcard.

Next, sit down while watching TV or the kids and write out 10 cards one night and place them in the mail.  Over the course of the next couple of weeks you have written out the cards, encouraging your fellow citizens to vote and have reminded them how important this election is to our nation.

The addresses you will receive will be targeted to specific voters.  You will be writing on specific issues and asking them to vote for liberty.

Get your cards and contact us nipatriots at gmail.com. In the subject line put ‘postcards’.

You can make a difference!

Taking Action: Contacting Campaigns

Get involved in a campaign for a candidate who embraces core American values.

If you know a candidate whose philosophy aligns with these values, get involved in the campaign.

Volunteer to walk door-to-door for a candidate.  Walking door-to-door is a powerful and effective way to connect with other citizens. When you walk door-to-door the issues become real and personal.  Often walking is done in groups, so even if you have never walked for a candidate you will have someone with you.

Campaigns also look for individuals to make phone bank calls.  You will be asked to make calls from specific lists, and will be given a brief script, which will probably end with you asking the caller to vote for the person you are calling for.

The first time people either walk door-to-door or phone bank it may feel odd, maybe even a bit uncomfortable, but in a short amount of time you will be surprised how easy it becomes.

Do not be discouraged if you do not feel comfortable walking door-to-door or in making calls, all campaigns have something you can do to make a difference and help the candidate in winning the election.

Remembering 9/11

Eleven years ago our nation was shocked beyond understanding, numbed by a horrendous attack.

Through the ensuing days, Americans came together and grieved our  loss.  None of us could escape the images of such hatred which rained down on our collective psyche.  Whether we knew any of the victims of the terrorist attack or not we mourned.  Those who were once strangers became real to our hearts, as individual stories were told in celebration of their lives.

As a nation, we understood at an intrinsic level that  the attack was meant to demoralize us as a nation, yet it brought us together.  As Americans we reached out to one another, displaying kindness and caring.   As a People, we knew the attack was antithesis to what we believe as Americans.

Today, if even for a moment, pause and think about those who lost their lives.  How our nation’s liberty was attacked eleven years ago today.  How innocent people pursuing their livelihood became targets solely because they were living their lives.  How first responders suffered great loss.  How passengers of United Flight 93 on  learning of the attacks chose to bravely fight the terrorists.

Today should always be remembered as a day to embrace our core values as Americans.

As Neil Cavuto says in the clip:  “To put that number in perspective it would be like spending $907,000 an hour every hour since Jesus Christ was born and you still wouldn’t come close to the $16 trillion total. “

National Empty Chair (Day) Week

Today starts a grassroots campaign to highlight the lack of leadership in Washington.

Inspired by Clint Eastwood’s empty chair dialogue, grassroots Patriots from around the country are placing empty chairs in their yards.  This action is designed to create a visual impact indicating Patriots frustration in addressing the key issues which threaten the foundation of our Republic.

Be creative and highlight what you believe are the important issues of the day. Examples;
